About Circle K International
World's largest student-led collegiate service organization!

Picture
Circle K International, also known as CKI, provides opportunities for students to become more involved on their college campuses and surrounding communities through service work for others in need. CKI members have the chance to work with fellow students, children in the community, and other adults.

CKI Pledge: I pledge to uphold the object of Circle K International, to foster compassion and goodwill through service and leadership, to develop my abilities and the abilities of all people, and to dedicate myself to the realization of mankind's potential.

UF CKI ANNUAL EVENTS!

Trick-or-Treat for the Homeless!

Trick-Or-Treat for the Homeless is an annual service project we do to help feed the homeless on Halloween night. Early in October we go around various neighborhoods in the Gainesville community asking if residents will collect canned food to help with our project. Then on Halloween, we return to those houses (dressed in costume of course!) and collect the canned food, which we then donate to St. Francis House.

School Outreach!

ARE YOU READY FOR THE BACK TO SCHOOL DRIVE!  In the past, we have used the drive to donate school supplies and clothes to students at Williams Elementary who are classified as homeless. Our goal is to expand the drive to other schools across the county, and hopefully the state.

Our school outreach chairs  also includes the very popular Alligator Pals program. Alligator Pals allows CKI members to both write and receive letters throughout the year from elementary school students. Each member of CKI who signs up is given either one, or two Alligator Pals to exchange letters with. This program allows Circle K members to act as a mentor for the elementary students, who enjoy practicing their reading and writing skills while hearing about what it's like to be a college student. Reading those Alligator Pal letters is sure to brighten anyone's day!

Relay for Life!

CKI always makes a team for Relay For Life. Relay for life is an annual event where teams raise money for cancer research and walk around a track for an entire 12 hours in support of all of the  people who  have suffered, or are currently suffering from cancer. All teams raise money before the event, and then each team has a booth with some sort of game or activity to raise money during the  event. All in all, it's a very rewarding experience and all the money is donated to the American Cancer Society.
